The site is
located in the sought after Preston area of Weymouth close to local amenities
and beaches. The design concept of the scheme sought to protect the existing
mixture of mature trees while taking advantage of the superb views across
Weymouth.
The "double pitched” roof provides a slot of high level glazing into the
top floor penthouse apartment allowing natural light to flow into the living
space, but also avoid potential overlooking to neighbouring properties. The external
elevations of the building use a mixture of white render, green timber
boarding, grey aluminium window & door frames and a slate coloured roof
tile giving a fresh contemporary feel to this development.
