This site is located in the exclusive Canford Cliffs
area of Poole, and, despite previous refusals for development of 2 houses, we
were, as a result of our close working relationship with Poole Planners, able
to obtain approval for an innovative solution of 2 linked houses. The
"link" being a large shared chimneystack - effectively creating 2
detached luxury houses in a seemingly impossible location. Poole Borough
Council, were very supportive of our vision for an appropriate quality design
solution from the outset, and agreed that our vision for a Charles Voysey
inspired Arts and Crafts design would reflect, and respect, the character of
much of the historic early development in the village, and would be a positive
contribution to the Conservation Area.
