The site is adjacent to Southampton General Hospital and was occupied by seven 1930's bungalows. We identified the site and its potential and were instrumental in negotiations with the Hospital Trust to gain their support for the scheme which includes an element of key worker units. The mixed architectural styles and the scale of the Hospital buildings suggested a contemporary design approach, which would not be overwhelmed by its neighbours and would create a dramatic improvement in the quality of the area.
